The wall magazine was started in Session 2009-10 with purpose to promote the constructive and creative communication among the students. The Magazine provides a sound platform for the students to voice their opinions. The magazine is designed by and for the students.

              

The magazine is a good blend of art and information, and out of its display format it reflects creativity too. The magazine is comprised of the sections like, Editor’s Desk, Guest Column, Expert Speaks to You, Creatomania, Laugh out Loud, Info Arena, PersonaIonized, Tête-à-tête, World Around you, Campus Buzz, Campus Poll, Dare to Believe etc. It is biannually released and tries to be a complete source of information for the students.

SMS Lucknow Creates History

SMS Lucknow is the first college in the history who has hosted the Curtain Raiser of the upcoming movie of Balaji Telefilms starring Emran Hashmi, Huma Qureshi, Kalki Koechinand, Konkana Sen Sharma. The event was totally star stud at the campus with the whole cast and crew of the movie.

The guests had lunch with Mr. Sharad Singh (CEO SMS-TC) and her Highness and then had a debate with media and critics. They praised state of the art architecture of the campus and hospitality extended by SMS TC. They also managed an exclusive session with the students for both autograph and photograph.

Sports Fest -2013

“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” a famous proverb with an obvious importance and SMS believes in the same. It’s true that classes are of utmost importance, they add to personality, learning and character of students but, sports actually reveal the character – as said by, Heywood Broun.  Sports serve the society by providing vivid examples of teamwork and intelligence as said by George F. Will. So, sports not only add to the physical fitness but also teach teamwork and intelligence in practical life.  SMS TC, Lucknow celebrates its Fourth Annual Sports Fest 2012-2013 in the duration of 30th January to 2nd February with full dose of enthusiasm, zeal.  The event started with screening matches of outdoor games of volleyball, football and cricket on knockout basis. The teams in semi-finals were paired on lottery basis. Simultaneously indoors were running.  At last, the winners proved that Gold medals arent really made of gold. Theyre made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts as said by Dan Gable.  Each and every team was given points for the respective positions which they got in championship. At last the team of Electronics and Communication Department proved that, “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships” as said by ― Michael Jordan.  The detailed list of winners is attached herein.

SMS as Remote Center of IIT Bombay

 IIT, Bombay has declared School of Management Sciences, Technical Campus, Lucknow, as a ‘Remote Center’ for empowerment of faculty & staff members through trainings. The code No. of Center is 1247.

A Remote Center acts as the intermediary between IIT Bombay and the participating teachers during the workshop. We have given this opportunity as we are of the reputed B School, with high academic standards, excellent infrastructure and good faculty.
