NATIONAL SEMINAR ON 16 th OCTOBER 2011

School of Management Sciences –Technical Campus Lucknow is organizing a One day National Seminar on “Growth of the Indian Banking Industry: A Roadmap for the Future” on 16^th October 2011.

Yet another Financial and Banking sector crisis is looming over affecting the growth and development worldwide with severe debt crisis of Euro zone, High inflationary pressure in India and low GDP growth in US .In this backdrop the significance of this seminar is without a shred of doubt and it provides opportunity to various stakeholders to come together and discuss the issues and challenges.

The   Chief Guest Dr. Amrendra Sahoo, Chief Gen. Manager, RBI will  address the august gathering  on “Growth of the Indian Banking Industry: A Roadmap for the Future” followed by Guest of Honour : Mr. V. K. Joel, Gen. Manager, PNB  Mr. R. K. Agarwal, Gen. Manager, SBI during inaugural session.

Technical Session 1 on Rural Banking, Agriculture & Rural Development: Supporting The Inclusion Aspiration will be Chaired by Mr. S. K. Chattarjee, Director BIRD, Lko and other eminent speakers are Dr. Sanjeev Kapoor, Assoc. Prof., IIM, Lko. P. K. Pattnaik, Chairman Aryavart Gramin Bank,Mr. C.P. Shukla, Retd. Technical Session 2 on Competition & Consolidation in Indian Banking Sector and Challenges Ahead will be chaired by Mr. Hardayal Prasad, Dy. Gen.
